JOHN BAPTIZES JESUS. Matt.3:13-17 & Mk. 1:9-11. Matt.3 13 Then Jesus came from (Mk.1:9) 14 But John prevented him, saying:
"I need to be baptized by you. Do you come to me?" so it is fitting for us to fulfil
all righteousness." Then he allowed him. 16 And Jesus, having been baptized,
went up straightaway out of the water: and, behold, the heavens
were opened for him, and he saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove, and alighting upon him: cf. Jn. 1:32-34 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying,
(That which John heard) "This is my beloved Son, in whom
