THE WOMAN WHO WAS BLEEDING
|
THE WOMAN WITH THE FLOW
OF BLOOD IS HEALED. Mk.5:25-34 & Lk 8:43-48. Mk.5 25 And (Matt.9:20) behold (Mark.5:25) a certain woman, who had a flow
of blood twelve years, 26
And having suffered much under many physicians, and having spent all that she
had,
(Lk.8:43) could be cured by no one (Mk.5:26) and had not benefited, but
rather grew worse. 27 Having heard of Jesus, (Matt.9:21) she said within herself, “If I may but touch his garment, I shall be healed.” (Mk.5:27) And
having come in the crowd behind, touched (Lk.8:44) the border of (Mk.5:27) his garment.
Mk.5 28 For she said, (aloud but still to
herself) “If
I may just touch his clothes, I shall be healed.” 29 And straightaway the fountain of her blood
dried up, and she knew in her body that she was healed of the disease. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself
that power had gone out of him, and having
turned in the crowd, said, (Lk
8:45).
“Who
touched me?” When all denied, Peter and those who were with him said, “Master, the multitude crowd you and push you, and you say, “Who
touched me?” (Lk
8:46). And Jesus said, “Somebody has touched
me: for I perceive that strength has gone out from me.” (Mk.5:30) “Who touched my clothes?” Mk.5 31 And his disciples said to him, “You see the
multitude crowding you, and you say, “Who
touched me?” 32 And he looked around to see the
woman that had done this thing. 33 But the woman (Lk trembling,
knowing what had been done in her, came and fell down before him, and told
him all the truth (Lk touched him and how she was immediately healed. (Lk.8:48) And he said to her, (Matt.9:22,
Mk.5:34 & Lk.8:48) “Be of good courage
daughter your faith has healed you (Mk.5:34) go,
(Lk and be cured from your
disease.” (Matt.9:22) And the woman was healed from that hour. |
