JESUS ASKS "WHOSE SON
IS CHRIST."
Matt 22:41-46, Mk. 12:35-37 & Lk. 20:41-44.
Matt. 22
41 But since the Pharisees had gathered together,
Jesus asked them,
42 saying,
(Mk.12:35) "How do the scribes say that Christ is the son
of David?
(Matt 22:42) What
do you think of Christ? Whose son is he?" They say to him,
"David’s" (Matt 22:43) He says to them, (Matt 22:43 & Lk.20:41)
"How (Matt 22:43) then (Lk.20:41) do they say that Christ is the
son of David?
(Mk.12:36) For (Matt 22:43, Mk.12:36 & Lk.20:41) David (Lk.20:41) himself
says in the book of Psalms, (Mk.12:36) He
spoke (Matt 22:43 & Mk.12:36) by the (Mk.12:36) Holy (Matt 22:43 & Mk.12:36) Spirit. (Matt 22:43) He calls him Lord saying (Matt 22:44, Lk20:42) ""The
Lord said to my Lord sit on my right hand until I make your enemies
as a footstool for
your feet." "So then (Lk.20:44) David (Mk.12:37) himself
(Lk.20:44) calls
him Lord and (Matt 22:45) so if (Matt 22:45, Mk.12:37) David calls him
Lord; (Mk.12:37) says
to him ""Lord,"" (Matt 22:45, & Lk.20:44) how, (Mk.12:37) how (Matt 22:45, Mk.12:37 & Lk.20:44)
is he (Mk.12:37) also (Matt 22:45, Mk.12:37 & Lk.20:44) his son?" (Matt 22:46) And no one was able
to answer him a word nor did anyone dare to question him anymore from that
day.
(Mk.12:37) But the
common people heard him gladly.
